Lia Aiello

CV


Lia is a Toronto based emerging textile designer. She is in her final term of undergraduate study, in the Material Art and Design program at OCAD University. Her practice explores weaving, natural dye and surface design techniques. Her undergraduate thesis project is a set of cushions and accompanying sample books in multi-block double weave. Lia is using a 24-harness computer assisted loom to weave two warps simultaneous, for seven unique patterns in multiple colourways.
